Common questions

Which sports does Aithlo support?

Aithlo plans and tracks run, bike, swim, and gym training, and includes Shift, a virtual-world layer for group rides. You set your preferred sports in your profile — see Sports, equipment and availability.

Do I need Strava?

No, but it helps. Strava is the primary integration: connecting it syncs your activities so they're scored automatically and your training-load model stays accurate. You can still use Aithlo without it. See Strava integration.

Is there a free plan, and what does it include?

Yes. Free (€0) includes a 2-day detailed plan plus a 3-day forecast, plan generation, one AI workout per week, one hour of Shift riding per week, and the last 30 days of analytics. The AI coach chat is read-only on Free. See Subscription and tiers.

How does the 14-day Pro trial work?

Every free account gets a one-time 14-day Pro trial. During the trial your account behaves exactly like Pro, unlocking the coach chat composer, plan adaptation, unlimited workouts and Shift, and full analytics. When it ends you return to Free unless you switch tiers. See Choosing your plan.

What is the AI coach, and does it replace a human?

The AI coach is a streaming chat that knows your real training data and can build and adapt your plan. It doesn't replace a human coach — you can also work with a real person inside Aithlo. See Using the coach chat and Working with a human coach.

Can I edit my own plan?

Yes. Regardless of the AI, you can add, edit, move, and delete sessions by hand, set recurring club sessions, and mark sessions done. See Manual plan control.

Which regions and ages can sign up?

During the beta, registration is limited to the UK and France and to users aged 16 and over. See Create your account.

What's not available yet?

A few things are on the roadmap but not live: OS push notifications (in-app notifications do work), offline support, wearable recovery data (HRV/sleep), and real payments — billing is a placeholder, so beta users see €0.

Does the web app have the same features as mobile?

Yes. The web app mirrors the mobile feature set, sharing a single backend, so you can train across both.

Is my data safe, and can I delete my account?

Consent is tracked for external data like Strava, and account deletion is self-service — you confirm by typing your email. See Account and app settings.
